JOHN CORKERY
Human Rights Awareness Tour Executive Director, Awareness Festival Chair
John Corkery graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Major in Biophysics and a Minor in Human Rights. UConn is one of only 4 universities in the country to offer the Human Rights Minor, currently the highest degree available to undergraduates. During his last semester at UConn John organized a Human Rights Awareness Week featuring a film series, a speaker series, a Fair Trade Coffee night, a No Sweat Fashion Show, a Candle Light Vigil, and an all day outdoor music festival featuring over 12 bands. John's expertise in organizing large events stems from his experience in owning and operating the Desert Rocks Music Festival currently in its 4th year of operation (www.desertrocks.org). John was also published in UConn's Human Rights Journal Namaste during his senior year. The Human Rights Awareness Tour was created through John's passion to educate and inspire others through fun, exciting, and positive events.
RICHARD LEE
Human Rights Tour Treasurer and Accountant, Administrative Chair.
 Richard Lee graduated the University of Connecticut with a major in Accounting.
Richard has helped in both the formation of our not for profit organization as well as with the coordination of events. As the tour accountant and treasurer he is in charge of all tour accounts and budgeting. He oversees all of our finances and is responsible for all legal aspects of putting together the human rights tour. He helps to promote our events in the local area and contributes his time to helping run events.
ALY CONSTINE
Human Rights Awareness Tour Booking Chair
Aly Constine has worked for the past 6 years as a booking agent with Mountain High Music, a boutique agency in Boulder, CO. She now lives in San Francisco and enjoys the energy of this progressive city. Throughout her career, Aly has helped organize events with many nonprofits including Conscious Alliance and Save Darfur. With a specialty in college booking, Aly was a perfect choice to help manifest the vision of bringing the Human Rights Tour to schools across the country. Aside from an intense passion for music, Aly loves the thrill of spending time outdoors and travelling wide and far. She earned her undergrad degree from Colgate University in New York state with honors of both Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude and went on to get her MA in Journalism from the University of Oregon
PHILIP CZAJA
Fair Trade Coffee Night Chair
Philip Czaja graduated from the University of Utah in 2004 with a degree (B.S.) in Philosophy.  While at school Philip chaired the Undergraduate Philosophy Club and was involved in the Philosophy Department's yearly conference.  He is currently living in San Diego, where he is busy composing poetry and prose pieces on many subjects.  Philip is dedicated to the arts and sciences, and wishes to share his knowledge of these subjects with others.  He is dedicated to bringing people together and creating a positive change in the world.
